How to Save a GIF from X on iPhone and Android
Long-pressing a GIF in the X app rarely gives you a true download. Use Share → Copy link, then Twitter GIF Downloader in Safari or Chrome.
iPhone (Safari)
- Open the GIF post in X.
- Share → Copy Link.
- Paste into twittergifdownloader.org and tap Download.
- Open the downloaded MP4 and Save to Files or Photos.
Android (Chrome)
- Copy the post link from X.
- Paste into the downloader and fetch media.
- Tap Download — Chrome saves to your Downloads folder.
